Project Manager (Water)

About the role

The Water Business Group at HDR is expanding and seeking experienced Project Managers to lead our programs. HDR is a 100% employee-owned firm that values collaboration and innovation. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects that enhance community water management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and manage projects from small to large scale, ensuring seamless execution.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through marketing, contract negotiations, and design meetings.
• Lead technical teams, conduct project reviews, and interface with governing agencies.
• Manage project budgets, track financial performance, and align resources.
• Conduct technical analyses, prepare reports, and mentor junior engineers.
• Support firm-wide initiatives and perform additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 7+ years of related experience
• Minimum 2 years of project management experience
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license
• MS Office and MS Project experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• A commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture

Pay

$103,000 - $205,000 depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
