Project Manager - Water
Who are we looking for?
The Central US Water business is growing throughout Texas and is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining client relationships, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality assurance
- Cook up and execute water and wastewater treatment and conveyance projects
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal teams
- Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and engineering documents
- Conduct work to appropriate professional standards and to the firm’s QA/QC requirements
- Participate in QA/QC programs for other projects as requested by managers
- Perform schedule reviews on construction projects and maintain/develop schedules for design and construction of assigned projects
- Mentor junior engineers and project staff
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed
- Prepare proposal efforts for new business
- Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations
Requirements
This role requires a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental, Chemical or Civil Engineering, a Professional Engineer license in Texas, or the ability to obtain one within six months of hiring, 5+ years of water/wastewater design experience in the Central US region, particularly in the Texas market, demonstrated project management experience, design management experience is a plus, experience in coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail, schedule and budget, and a strong ability to present technical information, both written and orally, in a concise and professional manner.
