The Central US Water business is growing throughout Texas! We're looking for an experienced Project Manager that is motivated to lead complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction.
Responsibilities
- Manage multidisciplinary teams, ensuring regulatory compliance
- Maintain client relationships
- Deliver projects on time and within budget
- Work with a team to support client development and strategic growth of the business both locally and regionally
- Build credible relationships with clients, teaming partners, and the community
- Manage and progress multiple fronts that require long-term development and commitment
- Lead the way into a new future for our industry, inspiring the next generation of driven and committed people
- Assist in the development of facility and or utility master plans
- Plan, design, and execute water and wastewater treatment and conveyance projects
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality assurance
- Cook up and review technical reports, proposals, and engineering documents
- Conduct work to appropriate professional standards and to the firm’s QA/QC requirements
- Participate in QA/QC programs for other projects as requested by managers
- Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and engineering documents
- Prepare proposal efforts for new business
- Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations
Requirements
Our ideal candidate has:
- A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental, Chemical or Civil Engineering
- A Professional Engineer license in Texas or ability to acquire upon six months of hiring date
- 5+ years of water/wastewater design experience in municipal water, wastewater, water resource, and/or conveyance projects in the Central US region; preference to experience in the Texas market
- Demonstrated project management experience, design management experience is a plus
- Experience in coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail, schedule and budget
- A strong ability to present technical information, both written and orally, in a concise and professional manner; must have strong technical writing skills
