Project Manager - Water
About the role
This position involves designing and managing distribution and collection systems, as well as water and wastewater treatment systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in these areas and be able to work closely with clients.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients to ensure quality deliverables are met efficiently
- Communicate effectively with internal and external clients one-on-one, as a group or in a presentation setting
- Steer a team of junior project engineers and CAD technicians to accomplish design, budget, and project requirements
- Gain marketing and project management experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, biological, or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- 5 or more years of related water/wastewater design experience
- Familiarity with ADEM regulations
Qualifications
- Strong communications skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
- Experience with WaterCAD, SewerCAD, or Civil3D
Skills
- Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering preferred
- Design/build experience preferred
