Duties And Responsibilities
- Cook up project team personnel and resources.
- Build and preserve client, engineering personnel, and consultant relationships.
- Compile reports about project financial performance.
- Watch and manage cost control and change management systems.
- Attend and lead project meetings, including progress, pre-construction, and pre-award.
- Create and maintain site logistics plans.
- Prepare trade contracts and bid packages with assistance from Estimating Team.
- Coordinate with other departments to align with CLP goals and client needs.
- Manage procurement process with Purchasing Department.
- Track and balance resources across multiple projects.
- Set up Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures and conduct inspections.
- Collaborate with Safety Director to communicate and enforce corporate safety program.
- Handle other tasks as directed.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience
- Five to seven (5-7) years of project management experience required (construction or utility experience preferred).
- Previous experience with City Light & Power may be substituted for project management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience with blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to view time/cost/labor estimates for projects and services.
- Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products.
- Adequate analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills required with the ability to delegate work appropriately.
- Work successfully as a Team Player with various partners from start to finish.
- Ability to always maintain discretion and confidentiality.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance
- You must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- You will be required to obtain Military Base Access Security Clearance.

Compensation & Benefits
- CLP offers an excellent benefits package including health, dental, life insurance, 401(k), profit sharing, paid time off, and holidays.
- Salary range: $75,000-$95,000/year depending on experience plus eligibility to participate in Short Term Incentive Plan.
