About the role

Air Products seeks a Project Manager supporting our HyCO Turnaround team who embodies a safety-first mentality, takes ownership for getting results with experience in leading teams through scoping, estimating, execution, and close-out of large projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned turnarounds events (includes maintenance and capital projects) and manage all phases through scoping, execution, and close-out.
  • Develop technical funding documents, scope, budget, schedule, and execution strategy for assigned turnaround events.
  • Manage communications regarding schedule, budget, and progress updates with key stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of operating plant and experience in an industrial environment.
  • Understands quality standards as outlined by Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.
  • Responsible for driving key Air Products Safety programs and establishing a Safety 1st Culture.

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years' experience in maintenance and/or engineering disciplines.
  • 10+ years’ experience in maintenance and/or engineering disciplines, preferably with experience in industrial outages, exchangers, pumps, hydrotesting, and pipe fabrication.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and business software, including Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook), SAP, Primavera P6.
  • Ability to travel 30%-40% of the time depending on assigned workload.
  • Obtain TWIC, passport, and pass refinery background checks.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and planning abilities.
  • Manufacturing plant operations, maintenance, and capital projects experience.
  • Professional Engineer preferred.
  • Technical, Engineering, or Construction Management degree a plus, but not required.
  • PMP Certification a plus, but not required.

Pay

In California, the anticipated pay range is $141,200 - $186,400 plus bonus. Individual compensation packages are determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and county of residence.
