Project Manager - TIMS
US Citizenship required. Active DoD Security Clearance preferred. On-site in OKC; no visa support or C2C.
About the role
The LWI Towers, Installation, Maintenance, Services (TIMS) business unit is searching for a Project Manager to independently manage small/medium projects with responsibility for cost, schedule, technical performance, and contractual execution. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse customers, and collaborative/team settings across all levels and departments within LWI.
Responsibilities
- Operates with limited supervision and exercises independent judgment within established objectives.
- Accountable for regularly communicating with customers, subcontractors, and cross-functional leadership.
- Influences project execution across teams.
- Identify and correct program problems; develop solutions to correct technical and/or financial issues; drive improved/increased value for both our customers and business.
- Prepare and present internal and external briefs.
- Perform regular program EACs, PMRs, and business forecasting reviews.
- Build and interface with multiple internal and geographically dispersed team members, ensuring consistent and effective communication.
- Work closely with functional management to ensure skillsets are properly identified.
- Execute internal reviews and executive briefings pertaining to all pursuits to include Gate, Color Teams & Strategy Reviews.
- Travel on average 25% of the time.
- Document and communicate project progress to all stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5–7 years of experience.
- PMP, DAWIA Certification, or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in Project Management and leading teams managing cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Minimum of 1 year of construction experience.
- Experience with the U.S. DoD acquisition process and organizations.
- Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficient user of MS Office and MS Project.
- Risk identification, analysis, and management process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiar with High Frequency Global Communication Systems (HFGCS).
- Experience in installing and maintaining towers internationally.
- Customer relationship management and satisfaction experience.
- Effective communication (oral and written).
- Leadership and team-building abilities.
- Business acumen and strategic planning skills.
- Proven experience in senior management role(s).
- Demonstrated ability leading and/or recovering large government programs.
- Customer-facing program leadership experience, with excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Program Management Certification certifications and EVMS.
Work Conditions
Employee will be working within an office environment and will be expected to travel on occasion to locations where specific PPE or attire is necessary.

Schedule
This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
