Project Manager- TEMP

We are seeking a Project Manager to drive discovery, planning, execution, and delivery of projects—both independently and by facilitating cross-functional teams. This role fosters innovation, collaboration, and strategic change to enhance experiences for patients, providers, and team members. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Project Manager will build structure, simplify complexity, and inspire confidence in leading change.

Responsibilities

• Identify new project opportunities through discovery phases, translating ideas into actionable and impactful change.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration and clear communication throughout project phases while creating consistent standards.
• Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate progress, issues, and changes clearly with clients and internal teams.
• Manage budgets, track expenditures, and provide status reports to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor progress using transparent methods, emphasizing outcomes, learning, and shared ownership with metrics where appropriate.
• Build organizational confidence in project management by coaching others and sharing practical tools for leading change.
• Facilitate collaborative change efforts, decision-making, and communications in change management, ensuring successful measurement and sustainment of outcomes.
• Create and embed standards, tools, and resources for project management methodology and process improvement across the organization.
• Serve as a coach and educator to enable others to effectively lead and execute projects and process improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project management, healthcare operations, or a related role.
• Healthcare operations experience preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Miro, Jira).
• Experience training and supporting others in project management techniques and tools.
• Competency in guiding others using Lean process improvement and human-centered design methodologies.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills with follow-through to action.
• Skilled relationship-builder and resourceful problem-solver who balances people, process, and performance.
• Flexible, proactive, and energized by improving how healthcare teams work together.
• Comfortable working in a lean environment with evolving priorities and limited resources.
• Experience facilitating diverse groups of stakeholders in aligning to create shared standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Knowledge of change management methodology and principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines, troubleshoot, and resolve problems.
• Ability to work independently, exhibit mature judgment, and make sound decisions.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Valid driver’s license.

This position is based at our Golden Valley office and includes periodic travel to all MCN sites.
