Project Manager - T&S-
About the role
This is a 1 year contract assignment. The role is for a pre-construction Solar Repower Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Lead pre-construction project teams through all phases from development handoff to execution turnover
- Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and risk registers for multiple concurrent projects
- Oversee engineering design activities including electrical, civil, structural, and mechanical disciplines
- Coordinate interconnection studies and grid integration requirements
- Work with environmental team to understand required permits and other regulatory requirements
- Coverage with regulatory agencies, utilities, and local authorities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Support procurement activities including equipment specifications, vendor qualification, and contract negotiations
- Manage safe harbor equipment requirements and tax credit compliance timelines
- Maintain project budgets and cost forecasts throughout pre-construction phase
- Support cost capitalization processes and financial reporting requirements
- Report on important financial metrics
- Coordinate with operations teams for handoff planning and commissioning preparation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy pre-construction project management or engineering
- Experience with utility interconnection processes
- Knowledge of solar construction
- PMP certification is optional
- Technical Skills: Understanding of solar PV and battery storage technologies, knowledge of power systems, grid interconnection, and utility regulations, familiarity with safe harbor provisions and renewable energy tax credits, proficiency in project management software and scheduling tools, proficiency in Excel
Qualifications

Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $50.00/hr. to $55.00/hr.
