Project Manager-Structural Steel Fabrication
The company is a well-established structural steel fabrication operation with over 30 years of industry experience, delivering complex commercial and industrial projects ranging from 1,500 to 6,000 tons. Typical projects include airports, hospitals, towers, higher education, military facilities, and large-scale commercial and industrial builds. The facility spans over 200,000 sqft and fabricates more than 40,000 tons of steel annually.
About the role
The Project Management team collaborates closely with clients, engineers, detailers, fabricators, erectors, and other stakeholders to execute large-scale steel projects from award through completion. The company is expanding its team from three to four Project Management groups, creating immediate openings for:
- 1 Senior Project Manager / Team Lead
- 2 Project Managers / Assistant Project Managers
Candidates at various experience and compensation levels will be considered, with immediate interviews and hiring for the right individuals.
Responsibilities
- Manage project schedules, budgets, scope, and client expectations
- Coordinate with fabrication, detailing, engineering, and erection teams
- Oversee large-scale structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication projects
- For Senior PM / Team Lead: Lead PM teams and manage complex, high-volume projects
Requirements
- Strong background in structural steel fabrication and miscellaneous metals
- Experience with commercial and industrial construction projects
- Project management or assistant project management experience
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders (clients, engineers, detailers, fabricators, erectors)
