About the role
Lead structural engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage project teams and coordinate with clients, architects, and other engineers.
- Prepare and review design documents, specifications, and construction drawings.
- Perform site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction phases.
- Ensure project budgets are managed effectively and within scope.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with project management tools and software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of building codes and standards.
- Structural Analysis Software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS)
- AutoCAD or similar drafting software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
