Project Manager -Solar Independent Engineering (Distributed Generation, Residential & Storage)
About the role
with. - Responsibilities: The bullet list: "The primary functions of this role include supporting major customer accounts, performing project due diligence, managing projects, contributing to process improvements, sharing knowledge, obtaining and receiving feedback, and a bit of business development including developing proposals." Also earlier: "You will work on a variety of distributed generation, community solar, commercial & industrial (C&I), residential solar and solar + storage projects throughout North America. You will be exposed to the entire project life cycle, working with the biggest developers and financiers in the space with cutting edge technology." Also "By joining our team, you will be part of accelerating the widespread deployment of solar energy, energy storage systems, and positively impacting society and the planet." That's more about impact. We can combine responsibilities into a list. - Requirements: "What Is Required" bullet list: Bachelor's degree required, Minimum 3 years relevant experience, Deft project and time management skills, Fluent in Microsoft Office, Solution oriented thinking skills and high integrity, Understanding of energy industry technology, Understanding of distributed generation, community solar, and/or residential solar project development, construction, operations, or financing., Supportive, resilient, flexible and proactive team member..., Proven HSE mindset..., Possesses a digitally curious mindset..., Strong written and verbal English communication skills..., We conduct pre-employment background and drug screenings (maybe not needed). We'll list as
- .
- Qualifications: Could be "What Is Preferred" list: Master's degree, concentration of experience..., Familiarity with DERs..., Exposure to contracts..., Familiarity with budgets..., Working knowledge of PVsyst..., Working knowledge of solar project financing process..., Working knowledge of energy storage systems..., Project management designation or experience, Immigration-related employment benefits not available (maybe not needed). We'll treat as Qualifications.
- Skills: Might overlap with requirements; but we could separate technical skills: Understanding of energy industry technology, Understanding of distributed generation..., Proficient in Microsoft Office, Digitally curious, AI, automation, digital tools, Strong written/verbal communication, etc. However we already have many in Requirements. To avoid duplication, maybe we combine Requirements and Skills? But instructions: Use sections only when posting has real specific content. We have both Required and Preferred; we can map Required to Requirements, Preferred to Qualifications. Skills maybe not needed separately if covered. But we could still include Skills if there is distinct list: "Deft project and time management skills", "Solution oriented thinking skills", "Strong written and verbal English communication skills", "Fluent in Microsoft Office", "Digitally curious mindset". Those are skills. However they are already in Required. Might be okay to have Skills section with those items. But we risk duplication. The instruction: "Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail." Duplication is okay if it's present in original? But we should not repeat same info unnecessarily? Not explicitly forbidden, but better to avoid redundancy. However we need to follow typical structure: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We have content for About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements (Required), Qualifications (Preferred), Skills (maybe we can extract from Required/Preferred). Benefits: we have "What we offer" list: Generous paid time off, Multiple Medical and Dental benefit plans, Vision benefits, Spending accounts – FSA, Dependent Care, company-seeded HSA, Employer-paid therapist-led virtual care services through Talkspace, 401(k) with company match, Company provided life insurance, short-term, and long-term disability benefits, Education reimbursement program, Flexible work schedule with hybrid opportunities, Charitable Matched Giving and Volunteer Rewards through our Impact Program, Volunteer time off (VTO) paid by the company, Career advancement opportunities, Benefits vary based on position, tenure, location, and employee election*. That's substantive. So Benefits section.
Pay: There is a statement: "For California, Washington, New York, Washington, D.C., Illinois, and Maryland: “DNV provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. The actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. For the states of California, Washington, New York, Washington, D.C., Illinois, and Maryland only, the starting pay range for this role is $90,000 - $140,000." That's specific pay range for certain states. So we can include Pay section with that info.
Schedule: "This role can be based out of a DNV office in the following markets: Oakland (CA), San Diego (CA), Austin (TX), Houston (TX), Portland (OR), Seattle (WA), New York City (NY), Medford (MA), or Dallas (TX), presenting a dynamic hybrid schedule where employees will at least spend three (3) days per week working from either a DNV office or client location/site. Further details regarding role-specific requirements will be shared during the interview process. The position may also be considered at other DNV offices within the US." So schedule: hybrid, at least 3 days per week office/client. We'll include Schedule section.
Now we need to output HTML fragment with headings
- for lists,
for prose. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, navigation, etc. We already omitted. We must not include job title heading. We must not include Job ID/requisition numbers. We must not include application instructions. We must not include cookie/navigation/legal/EEO etc. Now craft sections:
