Project Manager/Site Lead

About the role

Supports the US Space Force, Space Operations Command (SpOC), Space Delta 8. Space Delta 8 leads the operation, maintenance, and modernization of the Wideband Global SATCOM System (WGS).

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operational support for DoD’s satellite communications capabilities.
• Lead project management and site operations.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and oral briefings as needed.
• Be available within two (2) hours during normal duty hours and six (6) hours after normal duty hours for issues.

Requirements

• Active US Top Secret or TS/SCI level clearance (eligible for immediate adjudication by the cognizant security authority).
• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 15 years of experience with a combination of Project Management, Project leadership, satellite communications, telecommunications.

Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Skills

• Strong project management skills.
• Experience with satellite communications and telecommunications.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
