Project Manager - Roofing (Commercial & Residential)
About the role
An established and rapidly growing roofing contractor in the Bay Area is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. This individual will oversee commercial and select residential roofing projects across the region — ensuring quality, safety, and profitability — while also supporting business development and client relationship growth when needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple roofing projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
- Manage project schedules, budgets, submittals, change orders, and client communications
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with field crews to ensure work meets safety and quality standards
- Partner with estimating and operations teams to develop accurate scopes of work and proposals
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers to generate repeat and referral business
- Support business development and sales efforts through occasional client visits and proposal presentations

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing commercial and/or residential roofing projects
- Strong knowledge of the roofing systems listed above
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Experience with project financials, scheduling software, and construction documentation
- Ability to lead teams, problem-solve, and make sound decisions under pressure

Pay
$100,000 - $140,000 per year
