About the role

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role for the Retail Construction Projects Team, supporting the delivery of challenging Retail projects for a financial services client. You will be part of a team that empowers individuals to thrive through collaboration, innovation, and career growth opportunities. This role involves managing and leading projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery within agreed timelines and budgets while building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully manage and lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and empowering individuals to achieve their best performance.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, track progress, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.
  • Track project finances, ensure adherence to budgetary constraints, and provide accurate cost forecasts.
  • Implement robust quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards and client expectations.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, implement innovative project management practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the delivery of challenging Retail projects for a financial services client.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain effective communication throughout project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in project management, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including Microsoft Projects and Bluebeam.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel for project-related meetings and site visits, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a global and matrixed organization.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and technologies in project management.
  • Experience leading projects within financial services, specifically retail banking.
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
  • Experience with retail construction project delivery.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and process enhancement.
  • Knowledge of quality control measures and client expectation management.
  • ATM and Signage experience a plus.
  • Facilities Management (FM) experience a plus.
