Responsibilities
- Cook up and facilitate meetings, document minutes, and follow up on action items as assigned by the Project Manager.
- Support and report to the Project/Program Manager to prepare and revise VA and GCIO reports and presentations related to the supported product.
- Aid the Project Manager in collecting data call responses.
- Provide subject matter expertise in risk management, ensuring risks are documented and communicated effectively.
- Develop, gather, and disseminate technical information among business and technical customers to support the Project/Program Manager.
- Support product data needs through clear, concise communication, serving as the single point of contact and ensuring tasks are completed ahead of deadlines.
- Maintain project data in tools such as JIRA, Teams and SharePoint as directed by the Project Manager.
- Serve as backup for the HTMS Project Manager as needed.
- Lead small projects as assigned.
- Anticipate recurring tasks and plan accordingly.
- Assess process gaps and recommend improvements to current procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in: Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Research, or a related field.
- 5 years of related experience. 5-7 years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted for educational experience.
- Experience working with IT project delivery.
- Ability to meet deadlines, including short-notice requests.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented and thorough.
- Excellent communicator who garners trust through transparency.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse teams.
- Analytical and investigative skills with the ability to document solutions to support decision-making.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience tracking project performance data including cost, schedule, and risk management.
- Strong planning and organizational skills to set priorities and coordinate projects to meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Experience with VA tools such as JIRA, Teams and SharePoint.
- Experience with DevOps, Agile Scrum, and SAFe.
- Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Pay
USD $110,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 /Yr.
