Project Manager - Professional Services

About the role

The Project Manager - Professional Services at Maximus provides end-to-end project leadership across technical and business initiatives. This position drives work planning, reporting, and process improvement while ensuring projects adhere to established methodologies, quality standards, and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
• Develop and track work plans and schedules, including in Microsoft Project.
• Lead cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues.
• Lead and implement the design, analysis, interpretation and evaluation of a variety of reports, internal/external resource documents and surveys.
• Publish results for utilization by internal and external clients, as appropriate.
• Work with relational database management systems (MS SQL Server) and analytical processing systems; ensure data accuracy and validate all data collection methods used in reporting projects.
• Recommend establishment of new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information.
• Evaluate data quality, applications and functions, produce output and maintain reporting operations and documentation.
• Develop and maintain effective processes for managing requirements, developing business processes and providing production support to the operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Program Specific Requirements: 5 to 10 years of project management experience, Waterfall and/or Agile project experience, Active PMP certification, Proficiency in Microsoft Projects.

Qualifications

Essential qualifications include:

• Master's degree in relevant field of study and 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience leading complex projects in a professional services environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Experience with relational database management systems (MS SQL Server).
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay

$120,000.00 - $140,000.00 annually

Schedule

Full-time, remote position with 20% travel requirement.
