About the Role

Davion is seeking a Project Manager to lead the commercialization of new products from customer award through production launch. Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, this individual will serve as the primary operational coordinator among customers, internal departments, suppliers, and manufacturing teams. The Project Manager will maintain project timelines, coordinate deliverables, identify risks, and ensure product launches are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with customer, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of new product launches.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and launch timelines.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project meetings and communicate project status, risks, and required actions.
  • Identify potential project risks, escalate issues appropriately, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule while meeting quality, cost, and customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate project records, trackers, and commercialization documentation.
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for assigned customer projects following business award.
  • Coordinate customer requests, timelines, deliverables, and launch activities.
  • Support RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, specification requests, and commercialization documentation.
  • Coordinate customer sample requests and the shipment of development and production samples.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and decisions clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Sourcing Specialist to identify and qualify packaging solutions that meet customer, technical, and commercial requirements.
  • Coordinate packaging-development activities and ensure selected components align with product specifications, project timelines, and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate packaging materials, functionality, cost, and manufacturability.
  • Coordinate packaging sample evaluations, compatibility testing, and component qualification.
  • Work with Purchasing, Sourcing, and suppliers to monitor component availability, lead times, approvals, and material readiness.
  • Coordinate artwork development, review, and approval processes.
  • Manage communication with printers, graphic agencies, and packaging suppliers.
  • Coordinate proof reviews, revisions, and final approvals.
  • Support retailer and customer systems such as GMI/PQM, MediaBox, CBX, STIBO, and other applicable portals.
  • Coordinate with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure packaging and documentation comply with customer requirements and applicable standards.
  • Coordinate production schedules and launch requirements with Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and Warehouse teams.
  • Monitor raw-material and packaging-component readiness against production deadlines.
  • Track stability, compatibility, testing, quality, and regulatory activities required for launch.
  • Lead or support production-readiness meetings and launch reviews.
  • Identify and help resolve manufacturing, material, and supply chain issues that could affect project timelines.
  • Confirm that required specifications, components, artwork, and approvals are complete before production.
  • Support initial production runs and coordinate follow-up actions arising from launch activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, supply chain, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Three to five years of project-management or commercialization experience in consumer packaged goods, contract manufacturing, cosmetics, OTC products, or a related industry.
  • Experience managing multiple cross-functional commercialization projects is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working directly with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams is preferred.
  • Experience with packaging development, artwork coordination, or new-product launches is preferred.
