Project Manager - Power Delivery
Overview
Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Project Manager to expand and lead their Power Delivery practice in Philadelphia.
Responsibilities
- Lead a practice specializing in Power Delivery (transmission, substation, and/or power studies) engineering services.
- Create a vision for growth for a Power Delivery practice while growing their own projects, clients, and team.
- Cook up or direct development, energy assessment, engineering, or construction activities to ensure that the project needs and objectives are met.
- Operate with integrity and sound business principles.
- Provide vision, business planning, and strategy.
- Establish goals.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships.
- Have open communication with your partners and team.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience managing Power Delivery and Substation projects.
- Familiar with the relevant standards, regulations, and best practices for utilities and energy providers.
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work.
- Able to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization.
- Able to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably.
