Project Manager Power

Key Responsibilities

• Lead largescale power design and construction projects, including power plants (fossil, nuclear, renewable), transmission and distribution infrastructure, substations, or renewable energy projects (wind farms, solar plants).
• Oversee day-to-day management of projects and contract agreements.
• Represent the company at progress meetings, design review sessions, contract negotiations, and open-item meetings.
• Act as the primary liaison for communications with customers, Cube Root, employees, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Manage customer expectations regarding project deliverables.
• Ensure the Quality Assurance and Safety of all project activities.
• Think quickly and clearly to support project requirements in dynamic situations.
• Monitor project performance and direct the development of necessary reports.
• Develop and monitor project budgets, costs, schedules, staffing plans, risk assessments, contingency plans, and resource allocation for each phase.
• Manage contracts and project activity to ensure compliance with internal and external obligations.
• Prepare reports and presentations for company leadership, customers, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, preferably in power or largescale construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects in a 24/7/365 operational environment.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and policy implementation skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Expertise in budget management, scheduling, risk assessment, and contingency planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and safety standards in the energy/construction sector.

Qualifications & Skills (continued)

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to relocate to the United States Virgin Islands after six months.
• Able to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodations as needed.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $150,000 - $200,000 annually
