We’re seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in design and construction to join our Boston team. While the role supports our waterfront market, candidates with experience in bridges, civil works, and other civil engineering fields are encouraged to apply. You will manage project financials, delivery, and client relationships while working closely with our multi-disciplinary team of engineers, planners, architects, and scientists to deliver complex projects across the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project execution plans for managing schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing corrective actions as necessary
• Interface with clients and subconsultants, give presentations, and work on technical proposals to ensure project objectives are achieved
• Guide and mentor engineers on design procedures and quality management
• Demonstrate a seller-doer mentality—look for solutions, get things done, and keep projects moving forward

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field from an ABET-accredited university or college
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in a New England State (or ability to apply for reciprocity) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Strong communication skills and ability to interface with clients and stakeholders, both internal and external
• Strong proposal and technical writing skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $90,000.00 to $150,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

Hybrid working policy, allowing employees to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations.
