Project Manager - PMO

Ziegler CAT has an opening for a Project Manager in our Project Management Office. A PMO Project Manager supports the organization’s strategic initiatives and key projects through the project management lifecycle. Using effective project management skills, this person will be responsible for ensuring successful project planning and execution to meet project objectives, on time and within scope. Responsibilities Lead, manage, coordinate, and report on projects through the project life cycle: Initiation, Planning, Execution, and Closing.Define, initiate, and plan projects to ensure proper scope and estimateOrganize and facilitate the development of project documentation including: project charters, stakeholder analysis, change management plans, schedules, business requirements and resource needsEstablish project timelineLead regularly scheduled project team meetings to maintain accountability and keep the project on trackInteract on an ongoing basis with project team members and business sponsorsDocument and regularly update project plan to track/assign action items, issues and decisionsIdentify and mitigate project risksWilling to work with project team, analyzing issues to solve problemsEscalate and remove project roadblocksFacilitate collaborate/solve problems across multi-functional groupsSet, achieve, and report on key project metricsApply and champion standard project management practices Qualifications Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred2-4 years related experienceKnowledge of Project Management Principles (PMP) including project management methodologies and toolsExperience with Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies (SDLC), Agile, Prototyping, Waterfall a plusDemonstrated experience with project implementationsStrong written and communication skillsEffective leadership skillsTechnical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the businessMicrosoft Dynamics 365 experience, SharePoint, Power Automate and Power BI is a plusExperience in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, MS ProjectPersonal Attributes: Planning and Organization, Attention to Detail, Learning Orientation, Problem Solving, Creative Thinking, Teamwork, and Executive Presence Travel Up to 10% travel Minimum Physical Requirements Standing, sitting, walking, using hands, talking, hearing This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position. The pay range for this position is $82,300.00 to $102,900.00 Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location.
