Project Manager - Pharma/Industrial

Responsibilities

• Affirms and administers the project safety plan
• Supports project controls and procedures, and manages risk mitigation processes
• Creates and follows through on change items, and participates in financial forecast verification
• Creates and manages a project-specific quality plan, and assists with its execution
• Creates and manages a closeout plan, and assists with its execution
• Directs and supervises project administration, superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities
• Serves as part of subcontracting strategy, supports scope writing, and ensures integrity of the buyout process
• Implements and enforces contracts, develops risk mitigation plans, and prepares contracts, agreements, and purchase orders
• Enrolls in insurance and bonds, tracks compliance, and supports estimate development, design coordination, and GMPP
• Prepares monthly schedule updates, including analysis and narratives for select packages
• Assists with constructability and coordination reviews
• Develops a basic understanding of local market areas to assist in networking strategy
• Trains direct reports on processes, procedures, and task completion
• Manages workload and performance of direct reports, ensuring alignment with company standards
• Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members
• Aids in communicating company and department strategy to direct reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• 4-7 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong technical and communication skills
• Knowledge of industry standard software, Microsoft Office (preferred)
