Project Manager - Nuclear Power

The Opportunity

Consider a rewarding career in Project Management within the Power Industry! Located in the greater Cleveland area, this role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $105,000. Criteria such as qualifications, experience, and market considerations will be evaluated when offering a position.

Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree plus minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Or 10+ years of comparable technical sales, quality and engineering plus 5 years of project management experience.
• Familiarity with complex Nuclear projects.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent team collaboration skills.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

What You Bring

As a Project Manager, you will:

• Lead project teams and control project schedule, communications, cost, quality, and performance risks to ensure satisfied customers.
• Apply PMP knowledge and business practices to achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Develop project plans; coordinate project activities; communicate changes and progress; manage all project team activities and maintain timelines in Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools.
• Track progress and review project tasks to ensure deadlines are met appropriately.
• Establish clear ownership for project tasks, ensure team members have the tools needed, and provide timely feedback.
• Work with department managers to manage respective department capacity and resources.
• Schedule tasks appropriate to Engineering, Product Structure, Materials, Quality, Document Coordination, Manufacturing, Assembly, and Shipping.
• Formally communicate all project activities to customers and manage communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan, schedule, and run key customer meetings such as Kick-off meetings, Pre-Inspection Meetings, and Progress meetings.
• Multi-task and handle multiple situations at one time.
• Solve problems and implement changes cross-functionally.
• Manage project change orders and control with customers and internal departments.
• Show accuracy and thoroughness; suggest new methods, procedures, and work processes to continuously improve project execution work processes (e.g., Lean initiatives).
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate appropriately as needed.
