Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute capital projects across Clariant’s North American (NORAM) manufacturing sites
  • Manage projects from concept through completion while ensuring alignment with safety, quality, cost, schedule, regulatory requirements, and Clariant engineering standards
  • Oversee multiple, multimillion dollar CAPEX projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, operations, manufacturing, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Capital project management experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide project teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid remote/flexible work environment
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile)

About the Role

Clariant is seeking a Project Manager to support the Engineering and Process Technology business unit. This role will lead and execute capital projects across Clariant’s North American (NORAM) manufacturing sites by managing projects from concept through completion while ensuring alignment with safety, quality, cost, schedule, regulatory requirements, and Clariant engineering standards. This hybrid position can be based in Louisville, KY; The Woodlands, TX; or Mt. Holly, NC and requires approximately 30–50% domestic travel across the NORAM region. The Project Manager will oversee multiple, multimillion dollar CAPEX projects, while collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, operations, manufacturing, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
