Responsibilities
- Obtain complete project scope definition.
- Manage scope, budget, and schedule of medium to large and/or complex projects or portfolios of smaller projects; mentor others on project management methodology, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget constraints.
- Lead the project team in the planning and organization of project logistics, problem solving, and processes to drive team velocity and ensure full team engagement and successful project delivery.
- Develop/manage project budget and review and approve invoices, vendor proposals, scope revisions, etc.
- Create/project forecasts and revise project budgets and forecasts as necessary.
- Apply organizational and leadership skills to ensure internal and external resources work together to meet project objectives.
- Manage stakeholder expectations for project delivery, facilitate transparency and adaptation, and communicate how projects drive value for the business.
- Lead the project team in the development of contracting strategies that maximize value to Ameren's customers.
- Proactively manage contracts to ensure vendors/suppliers uphold the terms of the contract.
- Create, deliver, and implement project change approach, strategy, and plan; and change management activities to ensure ongoing stakeholder and user engagement; mentor team and peers in the roles and responsibilities of change management.
- Demonstrate ability to lead, coach, and guide others on project activities.
- Mentor project managers at the P1, P2 levels and peers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Construction Management, Engineering highly preferred).
- Five or more years of relevant experience in project management including scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, or project accounting including cost management systems to support project budget, forecast, and spend required.
- (Utility experience supporting generation construction projects preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Additional Information
- Standard Day Shift in office or field environment.
- Significant travel to project site, overtime (including weekends), and/or off-hour work may be required based upon individual project oversight needs.
- Ameren’s selection process includes a series of interviews and may include candidate testing and/or an individual aptitude or skill-based assessment.
Pay Range
$105,100.00 - $204,400.00
