About the Role

A successful Project Manager at Meyer Najem effectively communicates and coordinates with the owner, onsite staff, and back office operations team. You will deliver profitable projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million or more, with a focus on safety, high-quality work, and efficiency through technology.

Responsibilities

Deliver profitable projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million or more
Coordinate with the Assistant Project Manager to set up contracts, P.O.’s, required testing/inspections, submittals/samples, subcontractor/supplier lists, and project schedule
Coordinate with the Estimator on the project budget, project scope, and potential problems such as critical items and/or special hazards
Execute owner contract as required
Execute and track critical path submittals
Set times for weekly site meetings and monthly progress meetings
Conduct overall project reviews on budgets and schedule
Verify all testing/inspections have been completed and meet specifications
Prepare project meeting agenda and meeting minutes
Work with the AP/AR Manager to process owner and subcontractor billings, approve codes and amounts, and release subcontractors after owner payment
Prepare final punch and close-out documentation, including final billings, O & M Manuals, punch-out completion, substantial completion sign-off, final inspection, and occupancy certificates with the City and/or State

Requirements

A degree in Construction Management or Construction/Civil Engineering/Architecture strongly preferred
8+ years of experience in Commercial Building Construction
Ground-up multi-family experience with projects ranging from $10M to $25M
Proficiency with technology: ProCore, Timberline, SmartSheets, BlueBeam
A safety-first mindset
Ability to solve problems with limited direction
