Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multifamily and student housing construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and overall project performance to ensure successful delivery
- Coordinate with internal development, design, and construction teams as well as external consultants and subcontractors
- Manage procurement, contract negotiations, and risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements
- Provide regular project updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 5–10+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on multifamily and/or student housing
- Proven experience managing ground-up, large-scale residential projects
- Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and construction operations
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with purpose-built student housing projects or high-density multifamily developments
- Familiarity with design-build or integrated project delivery methods
- Ability to manage multiple projects or phases simultaneously
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
