Project Manager, Mission Critical

Responsibilities

• Full project ownership, including coordination with the Superintendent and project team.
• Manage all project finances and internal financial reporting.
• Maintain up-to-date contract documents.
• Prepare the project construction schedule in conjunction with the Superintendent and subcontractor input.
• Coordinate the final project budget with procurement.
• Review and approve all subcontracts.
• Approve master submittal schedule and submittal log.
• Schedule and conduct regular owner and subcontractor coordination and preconstruction meetings.
• Resolve project-specific issues and support the Project Superintendent with schedule management.
• Implement and coordinate on-site quality control and safety procedures.
• Oversee and manage all subcontractor Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
• Manage the Owner Change Order Requests process.
• Prepare and process all subcontractor Change Orders and associated budget revisions.
• Prepare and distribute monthly Owner Applications for payment.
• Oversee all project administrative logs and close-out activities.
• Drive the site-specific safety plan and promote a safety-first mindset.
• Manage multiple projects at varying stages within their lifecycle.
• Provide oversight, direction, and mentoring to a small team of employees in alignment with Hourigan’s policies and procedures.
• Foster a team culture aligned with Hourigan’s mission and values.
• Participate in the Hourigan Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) by committing to safe work practices, raising concerns, and applying safety training.
• Provide resources and support to ensure positive safety and health outcomes.

Requirements

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5-7 years of general contracting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of construction estimating, means and methods, accounting, document administration, and industry practices.
• Experience with LEED certifications is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with scheduling software, Textura, Procore, and Bluebeam is preferred.
• Previous experience managing employees is preferred.
