About the role
Help turn bold ideas into real-world impact for young men's mental health across the United States. You'll lead the delivery of high-profile projects spanning sport, gaming, community and online settings, working with partners to take programs from planning through to evaluation.
In this role, you will
- Lead the U.S. delivery of approved mental health projects, with an immediate focus on sports health programs and major event activations.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks and reporting.
- Coordinate delivery partners and ensure projects meet agreed milestones, budgets and KPIs.
- Manage partner contracts, expectations and performance, addressing issues or underperformance when required.
- Embed monitoring, evaluation and learning throughout project delivery.
- Adapt global implementation plans and frameworks for the U.S. market.
- Work closely with global and local teams across mental health, fundraising, partnerships and evaluation.
- Ensure the voices and needs of young men and their communities inform program delivery.
- Travel domestically or internationally approximately one to two times per year.
- Participate in occasional out-of-hours calls with global colleagues.
Requirements
- At least four years of project management experience, specifically within health related or community programs sectors.
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex projects from planning through implementation and evaluation.
- Experience managing budgets, timelines, risks, contracts and measurable KPIs.
- Experience managing external delivery partners and addressing performance issues.
- Experience in contract management and negotiation.
- Experience using Asana or comparable project management platforms.
- Flexibility to work across U.S. and global time zones when required.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working in sports health, public health or mental health.
- Experience within the nonprofit sector.
- Experience managing grants or funded delivery partners.
- Knowledge of organised or recreational sport settings.
- Experience delivering programs across large geographic areas.
