Project Manager, Mega Project

Job Description Summary

The Project Manager, Mega Projects is responsible for ensuring large project opportunities are effectively coordinated and completed on time and within expectations. Focus areas include setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing project progress including proper closeout documentation.

Position Responsibilities

• Ensure teammates and contractors adhere to site and Sunbelt Rentals' safety requirements.
• Provide assistance to management staff as needed.
• Manage communication between shareholders on each jobsite.
• Plan and coordinate scheduling and resource meetings.
• Review and analyze management and equipment reports.
• Perform and document follow up calls.
• Review and analyze merchandise inventories.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
• Deliver complete project closeout documentation.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements

• Education & Experience: At least five years’ equipment rental or related industry experience or equivalent experience managing large construction projects.
• Excellent knowledge of construction equipment required.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Internet/Intranet, and Wynne system.
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in developing relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communicator with strong presentation skills.
• Strong project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Able to read instructions, numbers legibly in English.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $74,500.80 - 102,438.60
Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.

Length of Service Awards
