Project Manager - Medical Communications

Job Responsibilities

• Manages and executes multiple congress support deliverables within the assigned client account(s) to ensure all aspects are delivered on time, within budget, and of the highest quality.
• Works cross functionally with the larger account team, including client services, science, and other assigned stakeholders, as well as directly with the client.
• Understands program-level objectives and ensures program execution meets the objectives and expectations.
• Applies critical thinking to develop and manage project timelines, based on the scope and delivery date.
• Aligns with client service team on overall timelines to meet the client expectations.
• Acquires and maintains knowledge of assigned clients' process, standards, and timelines, stays attuned, and communicates changes to the process.
• Collaborates effectively with internal shared services, external vendors, and partners to provide exceptional services and deliverables to our clients.
• Establishes credibility and trusting, respectful working relationships, internally and with the client.
• Establishes and facilitates good communication and information sharing between the various team members, including the client.
• Provides team (including client) with regular project updates and looks for efficiencies to support quality and on-time delivery.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)

• Ability to work independently and show initiative
• Organizational skills and the ability to handle diverse takes with time demands
• Strong Microsoft skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)

Education/Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree and/or 2-3 years’ experience within project and/or account management
• Knowledge of and skills in managing program life cycles
• Basic understanding of project financials

Travel/Hours Requirements

• Up to 25% of the time
• Domestic and international travel
