The PM II position will help manage the various technical projects we have. They will work closely with the technical project leads and engineering department heads on all phases of a project to ensure the success of our projects by being on time, on spec, and on budget. Midé has successfully transitioned a number of its R&D programs to successful product lines ranging from wireless data loggers to critical safety seals used on US Navy ships. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the following, however other duties may be assigned. Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and informationBreak projects into doable actions and set time-framesLiaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectivesAssist with identifying project goalsAssign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule managementEnsure that clients' needs are met as projects evolveHelp prepare budgetsAnalyze risks and opportunitiesOversee project procurement managementMonitor project progress and handle any issues that ariseAct as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participantsWork with the Director Project Management and the relevant project team members to eliminate blockersUse tools to monitor working hours, plans and expendituresCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reportsMust be a US person (citizen or permanent resident)Experience in project management, from conception to deliveryAn ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plansSolid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-managementStrong client-facing and teamwork skillsFamiliarity with risk management and quality assurance controlHands-on experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Basecamp, MS Project, or Trello)Project Management Certification preferredExperience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies highly preferredBS or BA Business Administration or related field REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must be a US person (citizen or permanent resident)Experience in project management, from conception to deliveryAn ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plansSolid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-managementStrong client-facing and teamwork skillsFamiliarity with risk management and quality assurance controlHands-on experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Basecamp, MS Project, or Trello)Project Management Certification preferredExperience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies highly preferred EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBS or BA Business Administration or related field3+ years of related experience in project management
