The Project Manager – Lab Business Operations (Scientific III) leads cross-functional initiatives supporting laboratory infrastructure, assets, and operational efficiency. This role partners with scientific, operational, and support teams to translate laboratory needs into structured projects and sustainable process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Manage lab business operations projects from initiation through completion
- Lead end-to-end onboarding of laboratory assets, including requirements gathering, gap analysis, and implementation
- Partner with scientists and stakeholders to evaluate requests and develop decision-ready presentations
- Identify process gaps and drive improvements using LEAN and continuous improvement methodologies
- Support SOP creation, revision, and standardization related to lab operations
- Conduct lab walkthroughs to assess asset utilization and operational needs
- Provide clear project updates, metrics, and recommendations to leadership
Qualifications
Basic Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences preferred
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills (e.g. Microsoft office suite, CMMS system)
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
- Knowledge of supply chain concepts within lab environment
- Authorization to work in the country without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications: Lean Process knowledge, Technical Writing Skills, Process Mapping (Visio)

Schedule
The position is full-time, 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Malvern, PA are encouraged to apply.
