About the role
Balfour Beatty Construction, in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a Project Manager to join our K-12 Education team in the local Atlanta area.
Responsibilities
- Overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a construction project
- Directs and supervises activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, project financial projections, and schedule requirements
- To ensure projects are completed with quality, profitable, adhering to our Safety/Zero Harm culture
- Project Financial Analysis
- Preconstruction Coordination
- Project Scheduling
- Project Administration, Operations, and Close-out
- Promote Customer and Community Relations
- Foster Positive Culture, Leadership and Employee Development
Requirements
- B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 10-15 years or more of experience in a commercial construction project management role
- Three years or more of direct supervisory experience
- Experience with project manager software (Constructware, P6, Timberline, etc.)
- Experience with cost projection, financial analysis, budget reviews, labor reports
- Experience with JD Edwards or similar construction application(s)
Qualifications
- Local candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
- K-12/Higher Education project experience, project size $10-30M
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Architecture

Pay
Compensation and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Hours are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend work required.
