Project Manager, Inspector

About the role

Welltower’s Capital Expenditures (CapEx) and Redevelopment pipeline continues to expand, encompassing thousands of projects each year across a broad and geographically diverse portfolio of assets. This role is designed to provide independent field-based oversight to ensure project quality, consistency, and adherence to Welltower’s design and construction standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct In-Progress and post completion inspections of various high value/risk CapEx and Redevelopment projects.
• Audit project plans, schedules and budgets against field conditions.
• Provide photographic documentation and standardized inspection reports for leadership review.
• Validate workmanship, materials and adherence to Welltower design standards.
• Identify trends in recurring issues and recommend process improvements and accountability measures to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support Operator feedback loops to address staff/resident disruptions and concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• A High School Diploma required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management or related field highly preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years’ project management experience within the seniors housing or multi-family industries.
