Project Manager, Infrastructure-IT
About the Role
Our client, a global organization with 19 locations across the U.S., U.K., Germany, China, Mexico, and Canada, is seeking a Project Manager to drive IT infrastructure initiatives, coordinate internal IT teams and vendor partners, and help shape a newly forming PMO. This is more than a coordinator role: you'll own the plans, priorities, and follow-through across multiple concurrent projects, keeping people accountable and work moving forward.
What You'll Do
- Manage project plans, schedules, tasks, risks, and priorities across multiple simultaneous infrastructure initiatives.
- Build task lists, priorities, and project plans alongside vendor partners, and drive internal alignment across teams.
- Facilitate meetings involving multiple groups, keep discussions on track, and hold participants accountable for commitments and follow-ups.
- Cookordination with IT teams including security, infrastructure, cloud, network, help desk, and operations, routing technical decisions to the appropriate owners.
- Track and communicate progress, including status reporting to leadership.
- Support change-management planning and project communications.
- Help establish processes and practices for a newly forming PMO.
- Support initiatives such as global device and patch management rollouts, network segmentation, hardware refreshes, site expansions, M&A integration, budget planning, value-stream mapping, and a potential cloud migration.
What You'll Need (Required)
- Approximately 4-5+ years of project management experience, ideally on IT infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and meeting facilitation skills; comfortable speaking up and holding stakeholders accountable.
- Working familiarity with common IT terminology and domains (security, infrastructure, cloud, networking, middleware, help desk) - enough to recognize where an issue belongs, without needing to make technical decisions.
- Experience working with distributed teams and third-party vendors.
- A proactive, persistent, high-energy approach to driving work to completion - not just maintaining spreadsheets.
Nice to Have (Preferred)
- Experience with cloud migration, network segmentation, endpoint/device management (e.g., Tanium), or similar infrastructure projects.
- Experience supporting or helping build a PMO.
- Exposure to change management, M&A integration, or value-stream mapping.

Occasional onsite participation for vendor kickoffs, major report-outs, and other key meetings in St. Louis, Missouri.
