What this job involves
JLL is currently seeking a dynamic Project Manager who can provide reliable, timely, and professional support while assisting with day-to-day project management activities across diverse assignments. In this role, you'll work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization, applying independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a varied workload.
- Support project executives on multiple projects and assignments, ensuring seamless coordination and communication across all initiatives
- Develop comprehensive scope and schedule documentation for assigned projects, establishing clear milestones and deliverables
- Identify and proactively address areas of concern regarding potential risks surrounding project logistics, budget constraints, and scope modifications
- Cook up and track all Vendor Request For Proposals (RFPs), managing the evaluation and selection process
- Interact and negotiate with contractors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and maintain project momentum
- Prepare and update project status reports, process invoices, update tracking reports, and maintain organized files for due diligence and financial oversight
- Coordinate the activities of subcontractors and manage the relocation of technical functions as needed
- Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner, maintaining the highest standards of service delivery
On-site presence required. To be considered for this position, you must reside in North Carolina, South Carolina, Southern Virginia, or Georgia.
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience as Facility Manager or Infrastructure Project Manager — or a combination of relevant work experience, education, or equivalent military experience
- Proven ability to prepare, manage, and track project budgets effectively
- Strong understanding of technical requirements for construction projects, HVAC, and emergency projects
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with demonstrated ability to successfully communicate with architects, contractors, client representatives, and team members
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
- Valid driver's license
Preferred qualifications
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Experience in construction management or commercial real estate project delivery
- Familiarity with architectural drawings, furniture specifications, and space planning concepts
- LEED, AIA, PE, and/or PMP certification
