Location: Nationwide – USA
Work Arrangement: 90–100% Remote / up to 10% onsite as needed
Candidates must be physically located in the United States with any valid U.S. work authorization — no sponsorship available.
Contract through 06/30/2027, with potential extensions. Must be available during required Central Time business hours.

About the Role

The ideal candidate must demonstrate both large-scale application development/support experience AND system modernization experience.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Application Development & Support Project Management across the full SDLC for large, complex systems such as Health & Human Services, Insurance, Banking, etc.
  • 3+ years of System Modernization Project experience
  • 10+ years working with business customers on requirements, analysis, and design deliverables
  • 10+ years creating detailed project work plans using automated tools
  • 10+ years of excellent written and verbal communication
  • 10+ years of technical writing and documentation
  • 10+ years with MS Excel, Outlook, Project, and Word
  • 5+ years supporting Unit, System, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • 3+ years of project management involving data conversion and data management
  • 2+ years of SharePoint, including access administration
  • Strong understanding of PMI project management practices
  • Experience managing risks, issues, mitigation plans, status reporting, resource allocation, and PMO activities
  • US-based candidates only — absolutely no work outside the United States
  • Full audio/video conferencing capabilities and compatible equipment for remote work

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Child Support System Certification
  • IV-D System Certification / Test Deck experience
  • Child Support Enforcement financial and case management systems
  • Azure DevOps or JIRA
  • Multi-year government projects involving state and federal reporting requirements

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining project plans and work plans
  • Managing risks, issues, action items, and backlogs
  • Coordinating business and technical stakeholders
  • Preparing status reports, meeting agendas, minutes, and communication plans
  • Supporting PMO functions and process improvements
  • Tracking resource allocation and project deliverables
  • Supporting application development, testing, implementation, data conversion, and modernization activities
  • Working with Agile, Waterfall, SDLC, Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Hybrid methodologies
