Duties And Responsibilities Assist in managing recovery and rebuild capital projectsManage projects through programming, design, permitting, construction, and close-out Requirements Education and Experience Minimum 10 years (PM II) or 15 years (PM III) of project management experience is requiredEducation background in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is required Knowledge And Skills Effective oral and written communication skills are required Ability to independently manage all aspects of a project and develop and control project scope, budget, and schedule are requiredSkilled in reviewing and coordinating the preparation of feasibility studies, conditions assessments, and construction documents is requiredAbility to coordinate interdependent infrastructure systems including roads, water, sewer, and stormwater so they function together as an integrated network is requiredAbility to effectively facilitate project team, client, and community stakeholder meetings is required Ability to effectively negotiate and prepare change orders is requiredAbility to effectively monitor and coordinate pre-design and construction activities with the various project stakeholders, including utilities, permitting agencies, and partner jurisdictions is requiredAbility to adapt and respond effectively to project issues and challenges in a fast-paced environment is required Ability to set and manage project expectations is requiredExperience with disaster recovery or post-disaster rebuild projects is preferredFamiliarity with FEMA Public Assistance or Cal OES reimbursement documentation requirements is preferred License and Certifications CCM (Certified Construction Manager) license is required Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record, free from suspensions or restrictions, is required Travel Requirements This position is site based at the project location within Los Angeles with office visits in Alhambra, CA. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office environment and frequently works in a construction environment. Conditions occasionally include exposure to outdoor elements, hot/cold temperatures, wet conditions, noise, atmospheric conditions, and cramped quarters. The noise level in the work environment is regularly moderate and occasionally loud. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the position is moderately active and the employee is required to regularly sit, talk or hear and use hands to finger, feel and handle; frequently stand, walk and reach with hands and arms; occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must frequently lift and or move 5 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 20 pounds. The annual base salary range for this role is currently Project Manager II $156,000 - $170,000. The annual base salary range for this role is currently Project Manager III $176,000 - $191,000. The Company’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of various factors, including job-related skills, relevant education and experience, abilities of the applicant and equity with other team members.
