About the Role

This position involves managing construction projects with a focus on healthcare facilities. The Project Manager Level 3 will read and understand site safety and logistics plans, manage permitting and violation processes, and ensure compliance with various insurance requirements. The role requires a solid understanding of QA/QC requirements, purchasing processes, and project scheduling. Additionally, the candidate will review shop drawings, third-party equipment drawings, and project schedules to ensure alignment with contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage at least 6 specialty partners depending on project size
  • Lead weekly specialty partner meetings
  • Work with the team to promote IIF (Incident and Injury Free) Culture
  • Identify and address any field-related issues with the superintendent
  • Read, review, and escalate potential concerns or questions to the Project Manager
  • Discuss safety concerns with workers and perform quality and consistent safety inspections
  • Stop work if necessary and escalate to the appropriate personnel
  • Attend, present, and lead discussions on scopes of work under their management to both internal and external partners
  • Take, organize, and distribute clear meeting minutes
  • Manage permit and insurance logs, including all involved processes
  • Request, receive, and review contractor onboarding documents
  • Create and complete leveling sheets for trade buyouts
  • Draft specialty partner-specific Exhibit A Scopes of Work
  • Assist with timely input and updates for monthly report information
  • Manage, understand, prioritize, and communicate the submittal schedule, including accuracy with ROJ dates
  • Manage, understand, prioritize, communicate, and question RFIs (Request for Information)
  • Oversee the change order process
  • Responsible for the close-out process for assigned trades, including closing NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and inspections
  • Understand and apply PCI (Project Cost Information) and its impact on budget and budget reporting
  • Understand monthly financial reporting
  • Understand ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) standards for healthcare construction
  • Begin to understand MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of construction experience
  • 1-2 years of experience with healthcare construction
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • SST (Site Safety Training) card required
  • Attend and retain knowledge from all assigned trainings

Pay

Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000
