Project Manager III
About the role
This role leads complex, multi-team programs with enterprise impact. The Project Manager III drives strategy-to-execution alignment, cross-functional delivery, executive communication, and organizational change. The role brings advanced Agile and Lean experience and shapes delivery standards across the portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead large, complex, multi-workstream initiatives across business units and technology domains.
- Serve as senior Agile leader; coaching teams, improving flow, and driving predictability.
- Direct complex risk management, financial forecasting, and program-level roadmaps.
- Facilitate executive steering committees and cross-functional governance forums.
- Influence strategy by translating business goals into delivery pathways and sequencing.
- Resolve cross-team conflicts, capacity constraints, and architectural blockers.
- Govern vendor management plans and ensure performance against contract outcomes.
- Define and drive enterprise-level delivery improvements, PMO frameworks, and metrics.
- Mentor Project Manager I & II talent and build project management maturity.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 10+ years leading large and complex technology programs or transformation initiatives.
- Expert-level Agile and hybrid delivery leadership.
- Strong command of enterprise architecture awareness, integrations, and dependencies.
- Exceptional communication across C-level and technical layers.
- Experienced in shaping portfolio priorities and governance models.
- Proficient in advanced delivery tools—Jira Advanced Roadmaps, dashboards, forecasting.
- Certification: PMI-ACP, PMP, SAFe SPC, Change Management or RTE, KMP II, IC, Agile Coaching certifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, related field or equivalent experience.
Work Environment
This is a remote (work from home) opportunity open only to candidates currently located in the United States and able to work without sponsorship. It requires a suitable space that provides a private and quiet workplace.
Travel
May be required to travel to off-site location(s) to attend meetings, as necessary.
Pay
Salary Range: $90,000 - $140,000
