About the role

The Project Manager II at Rosendin leads a systems team on various large-scale integrated systems construction projects. This role oversees all low voltage and integrated specialty systems, ensuring successful planning, design, coordination, and execution of highly technical installations in complex design and build environments.

Responsibilities

  • May train and provide direction to Project Assistant and/or Project Manager I in maintaining project-required tracking devices.
  • Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior PM or Division Manager.
  • Participates in the supervision and training of Project Assistants and/or Project Manager I.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within guidelines of corporate policies.
  • Negotiate the terms and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project.
  • Liaison with primary client and A/E to facilitate construction activities.
  • Represent the company in project meetings.
  • Direct the preparation of all change quotations for presentation to the prime client.
  • Negotiate all change quotations to a successful conclusion.
  • Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager.
  • Manage the financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company’s interest, and maintain a good relationship with the client.
  • May assist with the development of new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or other related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing complex systems construction projects.
  • Project Management Institute's PMP, BICSI's RTPM, RCDD certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Effective performance management.
  • Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Prioritize and manage multiple asks, changing priorities as necessary.
  • Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
  • Oral and written communication skills as required for the role.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
  • Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.
  • Travel up to 25%.

Skills

  • Strong background in systems integration, low voltage infrastructure, and technology standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple trades, vendors, and client expectations.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $128,000.00 - $191,900.00 annually. Candidate’s pay can vary based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
