Project Manager II

Job Description

The Opportunity

• Partner with colleges and universities to ensure the successful implementation of Flywire’s suite of products.
• Manage client relationships and deliver successful projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Manage project plans, organize resources, and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with various internal departments to identify improvements and escalate items as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Review sales documentation and develop project plans.
• Organize project resources and manage client relationships.
• Develop project scope and plans, and align with client objectives.
• Manage client expectations, project risk levels, and communication.
• Provide accurate, timely, and detailed weekly status updates to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (required)
• 5+ years of project management experience (preferred in a SaaS-based company or higher education setting)
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills (written and oral)
• Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
• Baseline understanding of technology (e.g., SQL, databases, APIs, Web Services, SFTP, file troubleshooting, infrastructure and enterprise systems)
• Working knowledge of Agile, SDLC, and other software development methodologies
• Knowledge of Peoplesoft, Colleague, Ellucian, and Banner products (preferred)
