Project Manager II

About the role

The Project Manager II will oversee larger and more complex security installation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. This role involves advanced project management skills, strategic planning, and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale security installation projects.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and contractors, to ensure project success.
• Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
• Prepare and present comprehensive project reports, including financial status, progress, and key performance metrics.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement processes to enhance project outcomes.
• Manage project changes and scope adjustments, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
• Focus on excellence in every interaction with clients.
• Absorb training to become an expert on the company’s portfolio of solutions.
• Represent the company professionally to customers.
• Embrace variety in daily work due to diverse projects and service calls.
• Collaborate closely with sales, management, and operations teams to serve customers effectively.

Requirements

• A sense of humor, creativity, and a positive attitude.
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on large or complex projects.
• Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
• Extensive experience in security systems or related technology sectors.

Pay

The base salary range for this role is $75,600 - $122,600. Salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
