About the Role
As a Project Manager II at KNAPP, you will manage multiple projects of moderate to high complexity concurrently, ensuring successful execution without direct supervision. Projects may include retrofits, greenfield or brownfield implementations, and integration of scope from multiple KNAPP Group subsidiaries. You will be responsible for steering all project-related activities, maintaining communication with stakeholders, and mitigating risks to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Manage 2-4 projects up to $60 million in value or a single project up to $25 million
- Ensure project margins exceed 15%
- Handle projects with minor contractual and schedule risks
- Oversee minor software development of established KNAPP products
- Act as the KNAPP US project manager for North American projects within global programs
- Produce and manage project documentation, including meeting minutes, schedules, risk registers, and status reports
- Escalate issues as needed to eliminate negative project impacts
- Maintain communication with KNAPP team members, stakeholders, and onsite teams
- Manage commercial items, project schedules, and budget forecasts
- Coordinate change orders, RFQs, and subcontracts for third-party components
- Drive resolution of project-related open issues
- Occasionally serve as a process owner for KNAPP’s core project management tools
Requirements
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Passport or ability to obtain one
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, including quarterly international travel
- Professional office etiquette
- Physical ability to sit, squat, walk, reach, and lift between 50-100 pounds
