Responsibilities

• Develop detailed budgets, estimates, and proposals across lump sum, unit rate, and cost-plus formats.
• Manage project timelines, schedules, and resource allocation to meet delivery commitments.
• Lead and manage a small team on low to medium-complexity projects.
• Organize project teams and maintain effective relationships with staff, consultants, and clients.
• Identify risk exposures and resolve complex technical issues as they arise.
• Enforce department standards for deliverables, budget tracking, and project documentation.
• Ensure the flow of project information is maintained and documented.
• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and the highest standards of ethical behavior.
• Conduct daily work and interactions in alignment with the organization’s values.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive information.
• Commit to continuous improvement and professional development for self and team members.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum five (5) to seven (7) years of experience within construction, restoration, and/or property insurance-related fields.
• Willingness to travel +/- 25% of the workweek and build camaraderie with a response team.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, in-person environment.
• Experience with Xactimate, RS Means, Bluebeam Revu, Primavera, and MS Projects (preferred).
• Possess a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.

Working Conditions

Work is performed at the site of property damage, including locations where disasters or catastrophes have occurred. This role may require:

• Working in elevated areas such as roofs or scaffolding, requiring physical agility and balance.
• Evening, overnight, and/or weekend travel and work during busy periods.
• Exposure to outdoor extreme heat, cold, and precipitation; indoor noise, vibrations, proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, chemicals, fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
• Working in close quarters, crawl spaces, small enclosed rooms, narrow aisles, or other confined areas.

Physical Activities and Requirements

• Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, or grasping, including lifting weights up to 50 pounds (e.g., a ladder).
• Close visual acuity (with or without correction) to prepare reports, view computer terminals, read printed documents, and perform detailed visual inspections.
• Ability to perceive color, depth, and have a sufficient field of vision to carry out all inspection and related duties.
