Project Manager II

About the Role

As a Project Manager II, you will provide direction for projects and collaborate proactively with executive management and department heads. You will also lead IT and business users in selecting and evaluating technology solutions to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects, ensuring they meet business expectations for time, cost, quality, and functional capabilities.
• Oversee all aspects of the project life cycle: initiate, plan, execute, control, and close.
• Participate proactively with corporate, business lines, functional units, and small business units in developing and implementing strategic plans for business initiatives.
• Ensure projects meet key stakeholder expectations while delivering the promised capabilities and results to the business.

Requirements

• 4-year degree required.
• PMP certification required or a Master’s in IT Project Management.
• 5 years of experience leading or managing projects, or experience in a professional insurance or IT capacity.
• Proven track record of successful software development initiatives and recognized leadership.
• Ability to lead business-critical projects and provide a vision for the future of Alfa companies.
• Demonstrated capability in problem-solving, decision-making, sound judgment, and assertiveness.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills, including comfort presenting to large groups.
