Project Manager - IA Distribution

About the role

Under limited and general direction, this role is responsible for all aspects of projects. Manages, plans, and coordinates activities to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished within agreed time frames and funding. Reviews project proposals or plans to determine time frames, funding limitations, procedures, staffing requirements, and other resource phases. Takes projects from original concept through completion and may supervise as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
• Makes necessary presentations and obtains appropriate approvals related to the project.
• Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
• Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
• Provides analytical guidance to the project team.
• Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Workplace

Hybrid work environment combining in-office and virtual work. Employees must reside within 50 miles of a Farmers corporate office in Phoenix, AZ; Caledonia, MI; or Warwick, RI. Requires at least three days in the office and up to two days virtual per week. Applicants beyond 50 miles may still be considered.

Physical Requirements

• Job is performed in-person at a Farmers office or virtually at an approved alternative work location.
• Frequently sits for prolonged periods, up to a full shift.
• Occasionally moves about the workplace, including navigating stairs, ramps, and uneven surfaces.
• Occasionally moves, pushes, pulls, lifts, carries, or places objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Frequently uses shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers to manipulate equipment, tools, and objects.
• Frequently performs fine motor tasks such as typing, mousing, or writing, up to a full shift.
• Rarely performs movements such as bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, twisting, and reaching overhead or below the knees.
• Possesses clear vision, with or without correction, to read and verify information.
• Relies on depth perception and peripheral vision to navigate the work environment.
• Possesses adequate hearing, with or without correction, to communicate and respond to auditory signals.
• Rare travel requirements, if any.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated presentation skills.
• Experience leading projects or project teams.
• Analytical reporting capabilities (Excel, PowerBI, and Alteryx).
