Summary Under limited supervision performs assigned project tasks and operational activities in accordance with required timelines. Conducts oversight and training related activities. Monitors and provides support for project activities. Capable of supervising project staff. Occasional out of state travel required. Essential Competencies, Duties And Responsibilities Develop work plans and tracks timelines for all aspects of assigned contract tasks which includes: Monthly and/or Annual ReportsTechnical AssistanceTrainingQuality Assurance GuidelinesWebsite maintenanceData related activitiesCollaborating with external organizationsMode experimentDiscrepancy Reports, Exemption Requests, and Exceptions RequestsPayment programs as indicated by CMS (i.e. Value Based Purchasing, Star Ratings, etc.) Perform Quality Assurance Plan reviews, conducts oversight teleconferences and on-site visit activitiesPrepare project flow charts, procedure documents, meeting minutes, and technical reports; and presents findingsCollaborates with project partners, regional/national CMS, and participating organizations and survey vendors to facilitate conducting project activitiesCollaborate with project staff to identify system and process issues, root causes, and resolutions pertaining to hospital and survey vendor oversightPrepare clear and complete project documentation Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s Degree required (Master's degree preferred) in business, health related field or other related disciplineFive years’ experience in healthcare project management Other Qualifications Attention to detail; able to multi-task and prioritize various project tasks; must be highly organizedExcellent verbal/written communication skills, including formal presentation skillsBasic knowledge of health care survey administration practices and methodologies preferredProficient with word processing, spreadsheets programs and database programs (Microsoft Office) Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
